Graduated UIUC MCS-DS program in two years

I’ve already posted this news on my Facebook and LinkedIn. However, I decided to post the news here again as I know many people who aren’t my Facebook friend or LinkedIn connected are visiting my Medium posting to get the information about the MCS-DS program. Posting was made four days ago.

My master’s in CS got awarded on August 10, but this just came today! Now I feel like I officially finished my two years of sleepless-and-weekendless UIUC MCS-DS program.

There are so many cohorts I want to thank you who fought with me against all the endless quiz, MPs, and projects on Slack and Piazza, but I want to give a special thanks to my wife and daughter who’s been tolerant and giving me a night/weekend so I can focus on the program.

Thank you for my former and current manager Josh Gunder and Tripper McCarthy, for the recommendation letter in 2018. They wrote another recommendation letter for me for the latest GeorgiaTech master in CS that I am admitted for Spring 2021.

Finally, thank you for my current employer Blizzard Entertainment for tuition reimbursement. I wouldn’t able to consider this program without my company’s generous financial investment to the employee.
